1 can {21 oz.} cherry or apple pie filling
1 can {20 oz.} crushed pineapple--drained
1 box {18 1/2 oz.} yellow cake mix
2 sticks butter or margarine--melted
1 package {8 oz.} shredded coconut
1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

| Cooking Instructions: |
In a 9 x 13-inch baking dish, layer the following ingredients, spreading each over the one it covers: pie filling, crushed pineapple, dry cake mix, butter, coconut, and chopped nuts. Bake 1 hour in a 350 degree oven.
